POSSIBLE
SYMPTOMS
The major
difficulty in
diagnosing CJD
is that there is
no one typical
path the disease
process takes.
CJD has a
multitude of
possible
symptoms and
what one patient
may experience
at the beginning
of the process,
another patient
may not
experience at
all. Each form
of CJD may
present
differently.
Please go to the
CJD Pamphlet for
accurate
information
about the
various
symptoms. A list
of common
symptoms can be
found on the
following pages
in the pamphlet:
page 7 Sporadic
CJD
page 11 Familial
CJD
page 13
Iatrogenic CJD
page 15 Variant
CJD
Please keep in
mind that CJD
can be present
with symptoms
not listed in
the pamphlet. A
physician must
be consulted for
a diagnosis and
symptom
management.
